Abstract
To guide this research the following objectives were established: 1. Identify Virginia DECA chapters who traditionally participate in competitive written events at the state level; 2. Identify Virginia DECA chapters who experience success in written events at the state level; 3. Identify what student demographic characteristics exist in DECA chapters who consistently participate in written competitive events.
