Abstract
The following goals were established to explore the dissertation directions and maintain focus on the problem: 1) determine if university faculties had focused research agendas in technology education teacher preparation for doctoral studies and what they were; 2) determine if university programs in technology education teacher preparation allowed students to determine their individual research dissertations and what they were.
