Abstract
To accomplish the purpose of the study, the following goals were targeted: 1. To gather data on violence in urban and rural schools in the Tidewater area; 2. To compare the difference between the violence in urban and rural universities; 3. To identify the most violent and accruing crimes in both the urban and rural schools; 4. To determine attitudes and opinions of security personnel regarding campus crimes.
