Abstract

This study sought to identify the accountability of the machine technology curriculum at I. C. Norcom High School. The perception of the curriculum graduates and their employers were utilized in this study to answer three basic questions: 1) What percentage of the curriculum graduates are now employed in occupations relating to machine technology and/or allied occupations? 2) What is the effectiveness of the machine technology curriculum as observed by the graduates of the curriculum for the attainment of employment? 3) What is the effectiveness of the machine technology curriculum for preparing the graduates for employment as observed by the employers of the graduates?
