The article explores the shift of television criticism to mirror the medium, embracing the narratives of contemporary television between 2006 and 2016. Topics include the move of websites and critics to use the model of "binge criticism," why the author supports episodic criticism, and the need for critics to address the macro-level dimensions of television creativity.
