Abstract
Cream City Disco tells the story of Matt Bauer, a musician and IT employee unhappy in the rural south, who forms a hip-hop band with his aloof friends. Along for the ride is little sister Jasmine, whose dancing abilities put her on stage with her brother. Competing visions for this artistic enterprise and the increasingly sinister leadership of head MC Chuck Reya jeopardize Matt's aspirations and his relationship with Jazz, as interspersed accounts of Matt's forays into the digital realm of Lord-o-Landia bolster his courage for the telling.
