Abstract
My Friend Glenn explores the potential of poetry-as-activism by enacting a poetic discourse between the author and a programmatic simulacrum of Glenn Beck. These paired poems interrogate the role news media play in contemporary political, racial, sexual, religious, and economic discourses.
