Abstract
Through profiles of six contemporary female authors that focus on their creative lives, as well as my personal journey toward rediscovering my creative voice, this nonfiction work explores the myths and legacies surrounding female creativity, especially as it relates to women writers today. It is an anatomy of stories about women who dare enter that territory of dragons beyond the known world, the territory where treasure is found.
