Abstract
"Letter to My 12 Year-Old Self" is a self reflection piece and I just wanted to tell people what kind of advice that I would have liked to have when I was growing up.

Pettie Perkins is an undergraduate student majoring in both Applied Linguistics and Park, Recreation and Tourism Studies. Her poems were presented at the 2021 Poetry Slam, Old Dominion University Libraries, April 13, 2021, and she was the 2nd Place Winner.
