Description/Abstract/Artist Statement
This work features a steel welded head, with a rusted interior housing a brain made of charred cedar wood. Mental disorders often come with flare-ups; moments of peace derailed and spiraling over and over. This piece, originally displayed with the brain on fire, speaks on the physical toll mental illness has on oneself and the brain.
