Description/Abstract/Artist Statement
The idea for The Midnight Call came from wanting to create a game that puts players in a high-pressure situation where every decision matters. The concept focuses on what happens when law enforcement is suddenly gone, and a rookie 911 operator has to handle emergencies alone. Since it's the player's first night on the job, they have to figure it out as they go, while trying to keep people alive. The main goal of this game is to make players feel the stress and responsibility of being a 911 operator and a police officer. Every choice they make defines the victims' lives. This is a visual novel game where you click and read the dialogue. How ever I've added sound effects, and music, to make it feel more immersive. This adds tension and makes this kind of game an unforgettable experience.
