Description/Abstract/Artist Statement

The ODU Smart System and Renewable Energy lab is equipped with about $2M equipment to provide world leading fabrication and characterization capabilities for research on smart materials and intelligent systems as well as renewable energy. In this presentation, we will highlight our key contributions on developing piezoelectric devices for ultrasonic transducers, sensors, actuators and energy harvesters. We also will demonstration our innovative technology on ocean wave energy converters.
