Description/Abstract/Artist Statement

The Research and Infrastructure Service Enterprise (RISE) is a well-established research division within Virginia Health Sciences (VHS) at Old Dominion University (ODU), dedicated to advancing outcomes research, population health, and health services through strong analytical expertise and interdisciplinary collaboration. A key component of VHS's research infrastructure, we work closely with faculty, fellows, and residents to support high-impact research initiatives. This poster will highlight the research support services offered by RISE and describe a few key studies showcasing the collaboration of clinical researchers and RISE team members. These studies span diverse fields, including public health, biomedical sciences, and clinical research, and employ rigorous methodological approaches—such as mixed methods and machine learning—to drive meaningful and impactful outcomes.
