This presentation discusses the importance of mentorship and how it plays a major role in the development of student success. By using various leadership models to explain the effectiveness of leadership in mentorship and the development of leaders through mentorship, the service learning experience acquired provides context to support the leadership models. This presentation will discuss my own personal experiences mentoring, reflections on the experience acquired, and how these experiences can be utilized in everyday leadership seminars.
