Through my studies, interviews, conversations, and research into "What makes a great leader?" and "What do great leaders do?" I have identified three areas of skills and knowledge that aspiring and current leaders can use to help develop their and others’ competency and effectiveness as leaders. Through the Independent Scholars major at JMU, I've accumulated classes from various disciplines to aid in the development of these three core components, which will be represented on this poster. One of my hopes in sharing these details is to inspire and inform others about the foundational elements of what future leadership development programs may involve and the importance of those elements in creating more effective leaders.
