Abstract
This novel follows an adventure undertaken by a group of scientists and explorers who undertake a quest in search of knowledge. It is an attempt to explore themes such as loneliness, unfamiliarity, and the boundary (a state of mind, perhaps?) separating reverie and reality, sanity and madness, humanity and animality, and the civilized and savage.
