Abstract

THE BODY DEALER is a suspense thriller novel that speaks to readers who want to know more about the world of conspiracy that we live in but are also prepared to explore darker realities happening around our everyday lives. The main character lives a double life, one as Grady, and one as B.D.—The Body Dealer—a black-market broker connecting elite hitmen with wealthy clients who need corpses. This thesis connects real possibilities with thriller elements to deliver a fast paced, adrenaline-fueled narrative.

THE BODY DEALER utilizes flashback chapters to demonstrate how Grady found himself in the black market for human bodies. My research for this project involved studying the legal market for human bodies, or body donation, to identify areas where nefarious activities could occur. I maintained emotional depth in my characters to convince my readers of their realism, while immersing them in a new world my readers haven’t seen before.
