Interim Dean: Shuntay Z. Tarver

The Perry Honors College offers Old Dominion University undergraduates the benefits of a small liberal arts college within the framework of a large, research-intensive university. Our general education courses promote active engagement and collaboration between students and faculty. Our Essential equipment/supply grants, the Student Honors Apprenticeship in Research Program, civic learning projects, and conference travel grants support honors students in their development as researchers and community members.

  • Undergraduate Research Symposium: The Honors College and Office of Academic Affairs sponsor this symposium to provide undergraduates with the opportunity to present the results of their research projects in a public forum.
  • Virginias Collegiate Honors Council (VCHC) Conference Proceedings: As a member of the VCHC, ODU undergraduate students participate in the VCHC Annual Conference.
  • OUR Journal: ODU Undergraduate Research Journal: The Honors College also publishes a journal for undergraduate research.
