David Madden is Writer-in-Residence at Louisiana State University. He has co-authored several texts on creative writing, including Creative Choices, Studies in the Short Story, the fourth edition of Studies in Short Fiction, and Poetic Images in Six Genres. Mr. Madden is the author of Shadow Knows, The Popular Cultural Explosion,and the novels Cassandra Singing, Bijou, and The Suicide's Wife.

Description

AWP Reading: Marvin Bell, Ellen Voigt, and David Madden, a reading of poetry and prose by three of America's finest writers. The reading took place at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 1978 at the Riverview Playhouse, 3910 Granby St., Norfolk.
