Matilda Cox is Director of Advising for the College of Arts and Letters at Old Dominion University where she previously was an instructor in the English Department. She received an MFA in Creative Writing/Poetry from Old Dominion in 1994. She continues to write poetry and has published in some small magazines.

Cox participated in a faculty reading with Eugene McAvoy, Amy Tudor, Juliet Crichton, and Renee Olander on Thursday, October 4, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.
