Author/Artist Bio
DANA STAVES earned her MFA in fiction at Old Dominion University. Her work has appeared in Shaking Magazine, Barely South Review, Fiction Writers Review and Grist, whose editors nominated her essay, "This Closet Smells Like Chicken," for a Pushcart Prize. She is a contributing editor for Food Riot, and her blog "Whisks & Words" was featured in Alimentum as one of their favorite food blogs. Staves is currently working on her first novel and lives in southern California with her wife and cat.
