DIANNE ALFORD is a writer with a background in graphic design. She has worked as art director at Baylor University Medical Center, and as the owner of 3030 Design. She has written extensively about American whiskey, and some of her work has been published in Portfolio Weekly. Her essay "Shoes" was selected as a finalist for the New Letters Literary Awards.
