The Ellmer School of Nursing was established in 1967. In 2023, it became an independent school no longer under the College of Health Sciences, and in 2024 it was named for Dennis and Jan Ellmer. The mission of the Ellmer School of Nursing is to transform healthcare by preparing exceptional nurses, extending nursing science, and partnering with our global community.
