Abstract
To guide this study the following questions were posed: 1. What are the reasons that technology education teachers remain in the teaching field? 2. What are the reasons that technology education teachers leave the teaching field? 3. What career paths are former technology education teachers pursuing? 4. What improvements can be made to retain Old Dominion University technology education students in the education field?
