Abstract
To study word processing, one must gain information on these specific areas: 1. To determine what jobs would be available in the word processing field in the Tidewater region in the next five years; 2. To determine the entry skill levels that would be required by employers in the word processing field; 3. to suggest curricular changes needed in Tidewater area word processing training programs.
