Marjorie Cenese is a 2023 Young Poet in the Community with the Poetry Society of Virginia and was the 2022 Hampton Roads Youth Poet Laureate Ambassador for Norfolk. Her work can be found in ODU’s “Mace & Crown” and Granby High School’s literary magazine “The Cupola.” Her main motivation for sharing poetry is to inspire all people - regardless of major or specialty - to write poetry and “share their truth.” Marjorie Cenese is a Bachelors candidate at Old Dominion University majoring in Electrical Engineering.
