Abstract
Spices have long been known to possess various properties, including their ability to deter pests. This study investigates the potential of turmeric (Curcuma longa) as a natural ant-repellent. By testing the spice in various controlled environments, this research aimed to identify its efficacy compared to untreated baits. The results reveal that turmeric is a promising alternative to chemical pesticides, with significant effects in repelling ants without harm to the ecosystem.
