Serendipitous Visuals
Description/Abstract/Artist Statement
I am a multidisciplinary artist deeply invested in a range of materials that span through painting, sculpture, and installation. My current work dives deep into my Asian American identity as a “cross-cultural kid.” I experiment with materials and symbols native to the Philippines and America fused into my family traditions. My palette is brilliant and playful, staying conscious of how color influences me physically, psychologically, and socially. The compositions create a distinct perspective through serendipitous visuals and contemporary techniques.
