The School-to-Prison Pipeline

Description/Abstract/Artist Statement

My research investigates the school-to-prison pipeline and how certain discipline-centered policies (zero-tolerance policies, metal detectors, police presence in schools, security cameras) affect Black students at a higher rate than others. My research was conducted through a survey for which students were asked information about their high school experiences.
