Modulated Signal Generation

Description/Abstract/Artist Statement

Modulated Signal Generation

Modulated signals are most of the time the solution to carry data from a transmitter to a receiver. These signals can be created using a signal generator like Rohde & Schwarz SMW200A or using software packages like MATLAB. This research investigates modulated signals like 11ax and 5GNR, how they compare and differ from basic Continuous Waveform (CW) signal, how to create an 11ax modulated signal using a signal generator, and some of the key parameters that can be altered during signal generation. The analysis also goes through a set of power tests using both signals and seeing how much power can be handled by Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) passband filters on an evaluation board (EVB).
