There are many challenges to working in agriculture. Some of these include the harsh weather conditions, labor intensive work, and long hours. However the biggest challenge of all is being a woman working in a traditionally male dominant field. Women play a critical role in food production, yet still face discrimination and limitations in the workforce. This presentation will dive into the challenges and rewards that women in agriculture have to face on a daily basis. It will also include a range of examples from personal experiences all the way to the global scale.
