Performance of the Painting: Numerous paintings have inspired poems, music, dance and drama. Michael Mott, poet and artist at William and Mary, discussed a few of them. Then, Sherri Brennen, the ODU Community Ballet, the Faculty Piano Trio, and the Pulitzer Prize winning poet W. D. Snodgrass provided an imaginative and dramatic rendering of Van Gogh's "Starry Night." The discussion and performance took place at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 1978 in the Technology Building Theater.
