Dara Wier is the author of "Blood, Hook & Eye,'' published in 1977 by the University of Texas Press. Carnegie-Mellon Press will soon release her second collection of poetry, "The 8-Step Grapevine." She teaches at Hollins ,College, is currently Visiting Poet at the University of Utah, and is a vice president of the Associated Writing Programs
