Author/Artist Bio
William Matthews teaches at the University bf Washington. He founded Lillabulero Press and its poetry magazine, Lillabulero. In addition to a book of translations, he has published eight volumes of poetry: "Broken Syllables," "Ruining the New Road," "Toe Cloud," "Sleek for the Long Flight," "Without a Mouth," "An Oar in the Old Water," "Sticks & Stones," and "Rising & Falling." He is president of the Associated Writing Programs.
