Ray Lincoln has operated her own literary agency since 1975, placing works with major publishing companies , including Simon· and Schuster, Thomas Y .. Crowell, and Little, Brown. She worked as an editor at J. B. Lippincott I' Company in Philadelphia for l 15 years and has done a broad range of editorial work. for Houghton Mifflin Company, the University of Pennsylvania Press, and other presses and trade publishers.
