Artist's Statement:
Tea Time is a piece based on family. It represents the close relationships I have with others and the family time I spend with them. Each cup of tea we drink together brings us closer together and strengthens our bonds. My goal is that people viewing Tea Time will think back on their happy memories with loved ones whether they be family or friends. However, some might think about the bad relationships they have experienced, and that is okay too. Tea Time prompts the viewer to reflect and think about their personal lives, not just mine.
