Abstract

In the ten decades since its inception, the Virginia Academy of Science has nurtured successive generations of scientists, advocated for science education, and promoted science-based decision-making in the Commonwealth of Virginia and society at large. A list of some of the Academy's most significant accomplishments during its first 100 years is presented.
